Sweet's Candy Factory

Today we went to the Sweet's Candy Factory! When the boys are off track for school we try to find fun things to do. They look very stylish in their hair nets!

Sarah, Tate, Lincoln, Sally and their nanny Noelle; Rachel, MacKay, Hunter and Sydney; Anna, Mitchell, Austin, Abigail and Sadie all came. It was cute that even Sally, Lincoln and Sadie had to wear hair nets also. All of the kids were excited that everyone got to take home a bag of candy!

Memorial Day 2008!

Since it was raining outside Charley, Tate and Abbie decided to take a warm bath instead of swimming outside in the pool!

They had fun pouring water on eachothers head and splashing water all over the place.

"Tate you are so gorgeous!"

"I love my twin cousin Tate!"

"I kissed Tate!!!"

Sidewalk Chalk!

Mitchell and Austin had fun teaching Abbie how to draw with sidewalk chalk. They loved it until Abbie wanted to draw on what they were drawing!

Before doing chalk I asked Austin to get Abbie a big shirt for her to wear. I think it is so cute that he put his football shirt on her! She looks gorgeous!

Mitchell loves to play with Abbie! He is showing her how to be a great artist!

Abbie reminds me of Steve's little girl Lily in this picture! She wears baseball caps and football shirts also!

Having fun on bikes!

On Sunday, May 25 after church the kids decided to go outside and ride bikes. It has been raining for days so they were so excited to be able to play outside!

The boys drew bike paths on the sidewalk so they knew which way the traffic was supposed to go. Abbie loves to play with her brothers and do what they do!

Discovery Gateway May 23, 2008

Tate and Abbie love playing at Discovery Gateway! They played in the 3 and under area for a long time. It is nice since there are not very many kids in this area.

They didn't figure out that you have to start rowing to move!

Austin is so cute with Abbie! They love seeing the paper fly in the air.

Is there anything better than Legos? Abbie's people are sleeping in the window sill!

Twins!?!

Abbie at 7 months old!

Sadie at 8 months old!

Trevor and I just saw this picture and could not believe how much Abbie and Sadie look alike. Abbie was a bit more chuncky. They both have very similar facial expressions in many pictures. These two pictures make them look like they could be twins!

A Day at the Hogle Zoo!

Today it was about 92 degrees. It was nice to take a break in the shade. Tate, Charley, Abbie, Austin and Mitchell had fun playing on the grass. Mom, Jamie, Lincoln, Sally and Sadie were with us also.

The first thing we did at the zoo was go on the train ride. Tate did not like the train ride very much. Sarah is so cute with Tate!

The kids loved the Tigers and Cheetah! They loved them so much they decided to go for a ride!

Mitchell and Austin are so wonderful with Abbie. They are very protective of her!

We had a wonderful day at the zoo. We did not have time to see everything so we are excited to go again soon. I think the kids liked the Cheetah the most since it was pacing and snarling at them through the glass. They were about five inches away from its face. Thank goodness to protective glass!

Happy Mother's Day, Mom!

Yes, I stole this picture from Sarah's blog since I do not have a better one right now. Since I had all of the Tate's over for dinner on Mother's Day I am posting this now. I want to write some of my feelings about my mother.

Mom you are amazing! I am so grateful with how helpful, loving, inspiring, outgoing and fun you are. Sarah and I were talking the other day about how much we miss just hanging out with you. We love just talking and laughing with you.

Mom, thank you for all you do for me. I know how busy you are and you still have time to call and say, "I have a couple of hours. Do you want me to come watch the kids so you can get some things done?" When each of the girls, Abbie and then Sadie, were born you volunteered to sleep over and take middle of the night feedings so Trevor and I could get some sleep.

I love going golfing or just hanging out with you and dad. I think it is so neat that the kids want to spend so much time with you. "Grandma and Grandpa, do you want to spend some time with me?" Even though I know you do not love fishing, mom, you go anyways so you do not miss out on spending time with us. Thank you!

I truely hope that I am even half of the mother that you are. I admire how you raised me and how understanding and patient you were and still are. I really and truely look up to you.

Thank you for being the kind of mother you are!

I love you!

I am a Twilight Fanatic!

Sarah finally convinced me to read the Twilight Series about a month ago. She tried for months to get me to read them. I kept saying "NO!" I like murder mysteries and my thoughts about reading a book about a teenager falling in love with a vampire was "NO WAY!" Well.....I am more than hooked! I read Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse in about three days. Then I had to read them again. I found out my friend had them on audiobooks and then I listened the them. I am on Stephenie Meyer's site and Twilight Lexicon almost everyday! I now have Mitchell and Austin hooked to her books. They listen to the books and follow along everyday! Mitchell has listened to every book at least a few times. They get so excited when I take them to the computer and show them all the new updates for the movie.

I am so excited and anxious for her new books The Host and the last book in the Twilight Series, Breaking Dawn to come out! Sarah and I have pre-ordered both of them! Our copies of The Host will be delivered TOMORROW!

Twin Cousins

Abbie is so gorgeous!
Abbie and Tate were born only 5 days apart so we call them twin cousins. Tate is Sarah's oldest.

For Easter we had an egg hunt for Tate, Abbie, Mitchell and Austin. They loved the bubbles. At first they thought they could drink the bubbles. In fact, Tate hiccuped a bubble.

Welcome to our family, Sadie Anne!

Sadie was blessed on Sunday, December 2, 2007.

She has such a calm and peaceful personality.

She never has taken a binki. As soon as she found her thumb she immediately started sleeping through the night. She loves her thumb!

Here we are with part of the Tate family the day Sadie was born. We feel so blessed to have her in our family. Sadie and Austin share a birthday, September 16th. Austin was such a good sport about sharing his special day with his new little sister!
